Karthik Krishna
Karthik’s journey of yoga is one of great learning, decades of self-practice, and devotion to sharing the knowledge with those willing to realize their mind, body and soul. As a child he was fascinated by the challenging postures of yoga and became an avid practitioner by the age of ten. His immense interest led him to participate in and win many National and International yoga competitions. His urge to achieve perfection in the postures lead him into discovering the actual practice and true path of yoga. By the age of seventeen, his passion led him to choose teaching yoga as a career path.
He opened his own yoga shala, traveled to China to teach multiple workshops for thousands of people, and since has led countless classes and yoga teacher trainings in Mysore, India. In a place well known for its yoga teachers, Karthik stands out as one of the best. He has perfected the art of creating a practice that is both subtle and intense in its own way, simultaneously therapeutic and advanced. All are welcomed to his classes, and while many different people arrive for practice, by the end all are united in one peaceful state of mind.
Molly McLaughlin
Molly has a wealth of diverse yogic knowledge, an open and loving heart, and the soul of a healer. She was first introduced to yoga and meditation while in the womb. She was a sensitive and aware child who struggled with feeling out of place in the world she was born into. She yearned for deep connection and a real sense of freedom. Her life dramatically shifted for the best when she rediscovered yoga at the age of nineteen. Once she set on the path of yoga, she experienced continual happiness and was shown the true and expansive nature of this mysterious reality. Her journey since has been one of great love, transformation, and awakening.
Molly has learned from various masters around the world and has studied multiple styles of yoga. She currently teaches Hatha, Vinyasa, Therapeutic, Yin, and Yoga Nidra. She has been teaching yoga for over 15 years; offering private sessions, group classes, workshops, retreats, and teacher trainings. She has studied dance, fitness, and martial arts. She is also a dedicated student and practitioner of Ayurveda and sees yoga and Ayurveda as part of the same tree, offering a complete package for the mind, body, and soul. Molly is currently exploring in depth the power of sound through Sanskrit, mantra, and sound healing. She loves to be in the ocean, adventure into nature, connect with plants and animals, and celebrate life with friends and family.
Pruthvika
Pruthvika first discovered yoga when living in Mysore. After attending a local class, she was hooked and slowly began to feel both the physical and mental health benefits yoga has to offer. She continued her practice everyday until she decided to train as a yoga teacher. Her teaching career began by assisting one of the best and experienced yoga teachers in Mysore. Over time, her practice has evolved and strengthened, finding her own style, providing a soft, gentle and nurturing environment as well as traditional and alignment based practice.
She also focuses on spreading the importance of yoga during pregnancy (prenatal) and post pregnancy(post-natal). Motherhood is a beautiful journey requiring a dedicated amount of physical and mental strength. Yoga during pregnancy can slowly help with the transforming body by improving the strength of the body and the mind. Pruthvika teaches Hatha, Prenatal, Pranayama, Mantra, and Therapy Yoga.
